This is so gorgeous, but I can't quite afford it. I like this too, but it might be just a touch OTT. This is so cosy and pretty, I'd probably settle for that.

I have nurtured a lifelong belief that I was made for something BETTER than this, that my badly modernised 30s semi is all some ghastly existential mistake that will shortly be corrected when I get restored to the grey stone Edwardian pile that is my true birthright.

6 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, big kitchen, walled garden, high ceilings and big windows please. A view of otters would be a definite bonus.

The owners of house no.1 look like they are allergic to books - there are photos of loads of bookcases, a whole library in fact in one room - and they are all empty. Looks a bit spooky really.
