Audiotours?

I've just had an estate agent round to value our house and as part of their marketing they want me to sign up to an 'audiotour'. I've never heard of one, but he claims they make a big difference to interest Hmm

Example here

Anyone had one done? Worth it? Not worth it?

Anyone been property hunting recently? Did you find the auditour useful?

Thanks!

It really wouldn't make a blind bit of difference to me. I can look at photos and follow the floorplan / written description just fine on my own.

In fact (and we looked at the details of literally every house in our size / ££ bracket) I wouldn't ever bother clicking on them, they're just slow and painful.

Wouldn't bother either, unless they are a 360 degree or video tour (i.e. allows you to see more of the house than you can see in the estate agent photos).

The one you linked to is typically excruciating to watch, so definitely wouldn't pay extra for it!

No

No, sorry. It has the slightly painful quality of local radio djs chatting to members of the public at an outside broadcast.

On the other hand if you get Richard Armitage to do the voiceover, I'll listen! Grin

Fab. Thanks. That's what I thought. I like a floor plan, and some good quality photos, but I'm very unlikely to click on something like that.

I will not fall for Estate Agent selling, I will not fall for Estate Agent selling...
