Desperately seeking a rug

I don't know what's wrong with me and I need help please! I must have spent hours searching 100s of online rug sites to find a contemporary, wool (preferably), grey & mustard rug. Ideally a light-mid grey main colour with a mustard pattern - preferably geometric/botanical but not too overpoweringly floral. The one I LOVE is only available in the US - see here: www.overstock.com/Home-Garden/Hand-Tufted-Blantyre-Grey-Yellow-Wool-Rug-8-X-11/6450041/product.html?cid=133635

Has anyone seen anything similar in the UK? There must be - but I can't find it.

Oh, and I can't afford anything over about £700-800 for an x-large rug.....

Thank you (in hope)

I think there are services based in the US who will buy "only available in the US" items for you, and then ship them to you. Obv they charge for this though.

In the UK, Jacaranda will make these designs (or any design you create) in colours of your choice. No idea what their prices are though, but worth a call to find out.

Jacaranda will be ££££££. They are very expensive.

How about anthropologie? They do nice rugs. It depends on your style tho.

Have you looked at wovenground?

Why not buy the US one and have it shipped? When I opened the link it volunteered shipping.

libelulle · 16/08/2012 22:24

that's what I thought 7to25, but unfortunately it also says 'cannot be shipped to international destinations' in a box next to it - talk about confusing! OP I'm also looking for a rug in fairly similar style, with no luck so far, so watching with interest.

John Lewis also do rugs that you design yourself, the same as Jacaranda, but I would think cheaper.

Check out a website called bundle box, they effectively provide a US mailing address so you can buy things from American websites and then they ship it over.
I don't know how much it costs but my sister has used it quite a few times to buy from places like J Crew before it was sold in the UK and it worked well.

Hi,
I had a rug shipped from the US from Overstock.com (using their own shipping system) about 3 years ago, so it might be worth contacting them directly to see if they will do it. I was lucky as I didn't get charged customs, but it could be quite high with a rug of that price.
