Farrow and ball blue/green

Can't get much closer than that Grin

wfrances · 13/08/2012 16:16

ive tried farrow ball -blue green seems too green ,light blue is too grey.

Agree it's more greeny than blue. If you want a more blue colour the Annie sloan blue/green is more blue than green - can't remember it's name though.

Also, before I painted my kitchen cupboards the farrow and ball green/blue I has the Laura Ashley pale Parisian blue and that was a lovely blue.

wfrances · 13/08/2012 16:25

i had eyed that yesterday, that and the normal parisian blue.
is the pale-very pale?

No it's not very pale, lots of depth to it. The normal Parisian I had in my bedroom wall and it reminded me of a touch more blueey than Parma violets if that makes sense?

I really like little greene blue verditer, but may be too blue? The f&b stone blue is nice too. Have spent far too much of this summer studying paint cards!

I've painted DD's room in a copy of F&B Powder Blue (which is now discontinued I think). It's a perfect bluey/green

kitsmummy · 14/08/2012 12:32

this powder blue being the best representation of how it looks in DDs room

MonsPubis · 14/08/2012 12:32

Crown Period colours - Flagon is fab. I have had it in kitch, dining room in 2 houses. Lots of people comment and have gone on to do their own houses in it.

Little greene pearl. Comes in original, mid and light. I wanted what you are after and these were perfect and gorgeous. F&b colours were not subtle at all on my wall.

MissPollysTrolleyed · 14/08/2012 14:29

Love the Little Greene Pearl.

Did you have a mix of these sh77 or did you choose one and use it throughout?

tak1ngchances · 14/08/2012 14:34

Have just painted our loft in F&B pavillion blue and it is heavenly. Light, airy, calming. I would 100% recommend it

Furball · 14/08/2012 14:39

dulux heritage green oxide - We had it in our bedroom and when we moved painted our new bedroom that colour too as we liked it so much

Furball · 14/08/2012 14:40

that picture doesn't really do it justice

wfrances · 14/08/2012 17:33
