House being valued on Monday - what should I be doing?

Estate agents are coming on Monday to value the house. It is still being tarted up for sale so the master bedroom is a work in progress.
Do I need to hide the dc's toys etc?
Bake bread?
Dress in a Boden style?

I'm hoping not until the buyers appear! :)

Just tidy and make sure you know info like recent windows/ kitchen etc that may come with guarantees and help the sale

Don't fall for the trick of them asking you if another EA has already valued it and then asking you what the valuation is - they will only then give you a higher valuation to get your business which might not be a realistic selling price and then your house might sit on the market for years to come.

Tell every EA that they are the FIRST EA you have got a valuation from.
