buy or rent?

With a falling housing market and vendors not moving in price, should I make arrangements to rent? I don't want to loose my buyers. I have a few weeks left to meet dates, so I can keep looking.

I though it would be easy once I sold.

yes we did and it has worked for us twice

I don't think house prices are going up anytime soon personally.

Therefore if I sold my house and I was really happy with the price, I'd rent.

Depends on what you think will happen to house prices.

We haven't had any good offers at all on our place so we are letting it out and renting.

Would it be such a disaster if I put in a raised offer and the house I buy then drops in value, it would only matter when selling and anything i would buy would be in the same situation?

No but if they increased while you were renting you would have less house for your money iyswin. If your staying a while that wouldn't bother me either.

Not a disaster as long as you are buying a house as a home for the next 10+ years. Prices aren't going to move anywhere (but downwards) till then.
