Washing machine not filing properly?

Taking water in, but not making the puddle at the bottom that the clothes sit in and get battered by the little arm things.

Any ideas?

Have you moved it recently? If so the filler hose could be pinched and allowing only a small amount of water in.

No movement (and it's a shortish hose so odds of it being kinked are slim).

DH had a look last night, but no avail - engineer booked for Tuesday.

It is letting water in, but it's just not making that puddle at the bottom which the clothes get pushed through; clothes are getting washed, just not brilliantly.

Can't help then! The filler sensor is probably b0rked which means it'll just keep flowing through rather than filling and stopping.

But then I wouldn't have thought it would continue with the cycle....

I hope the engineer doesn't charge too much!
