elephants breath, now thinking about curtain fabrics, if you've used EB what colour/type fabric have you used?

I quite like the lux look of this (halfway down article) but not sure what colour it is? Looks like silk do you think?

Yep, looks like silk to me. Don't use it at a south facing window or it will rot. And have the curtains interlined as I think silk needs 'body' to look that good.

However, it does look quite a similar colour to EB. Why not go for a contrast, or a subtle pattern?

I've just used quite a textured linen, dark lime, with a cream/black wide spaced stripe and it looks v smart. Not a bedroom so not right for you but I'd experiment with some pattern and see what happens.
