Does anyone have any experience of getting work you have done yourself certified/ tested? we have sold our flat but dp and his dad put in the kitchen and bathroom and did some work in the bedroom. We need to show some kid of paperwork to show its safe.
I have been told I can one of 2 things
Periodic Inspection report - done by an electrician employed by us
Regularisation certificate - do a retrospctive application to building control and it is done by independant electrician on their behalf.
Any one with previous experience got any tips/ know anything about these?
