We are going to be installing solid wood flooring ourselves soon. We have down engerniered wood before and laminate. This however is different as it it tounge and groove, need nailed down with hidden nails and will not be a floating floor.
Can you use roll down sound insullation under? like This ? between the subfloor and the solid wood?
I presume if you can then this needs stuck down?
any tips on fitting such a floor very much appreciated. we will be doing whole flat except kitchen and bathroom, in one peice.
