If so, what did you do around the oven? I.e. did you fit up to it or underneath it?
We've got the guy coming out tomorrow to lift off old vinyl and level floor and then lay the flooring on Tuesday. He's asked us to disconnect all appliances. We've just realised the oven is hardwired into the wall. The plan was to remove it totally, so he could put self-levelling stuff down and Karndean down underneath the oven.
DH reckons he'll be able to work up to it, but I'm paranoid it has a few mm either side (it's a Rangemaster so not fitted), which if the flooring stops just behind the oven 'kickboard', it will be visible?
Just wondered if anyone else had similar experiences! Agh, am I going to have to get an electrician to come out tomorrow to remove the bloody hardwiring of the oven?
