We are considering putting this type of shutter in our living room and bedroom windows (Victorian bays) does anyone have and experience of these?
TIA

We have them, installed by a local company in SE London rather than John Lewis. They are fine. There is a bit of a delay after ordering, I am not sure where they are made up. We have them with the invisible rods (not sure if that is what you call them) which is nice, less visual clutter. We have had them less than a year so can't say long term how they stand up.

Fapl - are you pleased with the overall effect? Have you got anything else around the windows, curtains etc or just the shutters? Trying to decide if it will look sparse, or nice and simple clean lines. Do you open the windows much? That's the only slight reservation I have - having to open the shutter to open the window ifyswim? Out of interest do you know how much you paid per sq m? Inc fitting?
Many thanks

Very pleased with overall effect. Also, when I said delay after ordering what I meant was lead time. We only have the shutters over a built in bay storage seat. We did not want curtains because our son might go swinging off them. I would say it is not a problem to open and close them to open your windows. I am not sure how much I paid per square meter, it was £900 for a small bay window (our terrace house is less than 14ft wide).
