I quite like this bed frame but I don't want to shell out lots of pounds for it without seeing it.

Do Next have shops with their furniture in so one can go and bounce up and down on it and bitch about the finish on the headboard?

Also, are their mattresses any cop?

Thanks!

I've got a fairly new bed frame from Next, a metal one similar to the one you like. I really regret buying it though. It squeaks and creaks a lot, so much so that it somewhat inhibits, erm, activities Blush when the children are in the house. It's really annoying and i'll be getting rid as soon as I can afford to buy a better one 2016 then.

I had a bed from there about 10 years ago, a metal framed one.
It was ok, lasted a few years before ending up in my spare room.

Bit squeaky from what I remember too Blush

Didn't get a mattress from there though.

One of the larger Next stores near me has furniture in it, mostly sofas though, not seen many beds (but not been in for ages)

There are a few Next Home stores now open - we went to one in Tamworth at the weekend.

We were really looking at the children's bedroom furniture and I was really disappointed with the quality. Not sure about the metal framed beds though.

Try googling Next Home or perhaps asking in a shop if they know of a store near you.

I agree with the above poster. We were looking fir a cabin bed for dd . We looked at one in store and I was shocked at the poor quality tbh. Try and see before you buy.

Hmm, food for thought. We have an attic bedroom so noise is less of an issue than it could be, but it would annoy me.

I bet I end up back in Ikea.

Thanks, everyone!

I can't see your link.

We bought ds's bed and mattress from next about 3 years ago and have been very pleased with it.

We have a few Next shops nearby who stock furniture, not the entire range though.
