Built in single ovens

I need a new built in single oven. The Electrolux that was top of Which best buys doesn't seem to be for sale in many reputable places. So what to get.

Don't want to spend a fortune but DH likes the idea of one that self cleans.

Any advice would be useful

Can't help on the main query, as we have a double oven (Neff), but my one tip would be to tell you that self-cleaning ovens don't self-clean. It is all a big con designed to raise your hopes and then dash them.

We have a Zanussi one. It is 5 years old and it's fine. I have no particulalry strong feelings about ovens, you know it works, looks OK, didn't cost a fortune. I have it professionally cleaned once a year. I hate cleaning ovens, and every time I buy over cleaner I get pg and can't use it. I now ave two DC and don't want any more!

My old oven was rubbish. It was by CDA so would like something a bit more sturdy. Don't want to spend a fortune.

I had my oven cleaned just before it broke down.

AEG everytime although the self cleaners are pricey. Electrolux is made by the same company but less expensive so could be a good choice. Bosch also v.reliable.

The shop we went to recommend Blomberg but have never heard of them. They are German. Might give them a go they have a 3 year warranty.

I would recommend Bosch as reliable without the Meille price tag. I've been very pleased with mine.

We have two Bosch single ovens side by side at eye level. It's a fab arrangement, Bosch are very reliable, my only regret is that they are a little on the narrow side and my favourite tin doesn't fit

I have a lot of Bosch in my kitchen. Its good on the whole but the last thing I bought (my fridge) isn't great quality.

I do also have a microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and tumble drier - all from Bosch.
