Which steam mop: Vax S2 vs Lakeland

I know there are loads of threads on these steam mops and I think I'm ready to bite the bullet and get one.

Have had my eye on the Vax S2 and noticed it is on offer on amazon at the moment for £60. I have been reading a few of the othe threads and the Lakeland mop has been recommended a few times. This is also £60.

So I am just wondering if anyone has tried both and could advise which is the better buy? I am probably veering towards the Vax but would appreciate any opinions. Thanks.

I re-posted this in good housekeeping as there are always discussions on steam mops there.

Pancake - they are electric mops that generate steam. They thoroughly clean floors without needing any chemical products and apparently with very little effort. Double the effect, half the work?!!

Hi sunny, I wouldn't say they were half the work but there definately no harder. I got the Holme one from Asda for £20 and I am really pleased with it Smile

Interesting, thanks pinkyp
