Am I missing something...or have I no taste? Renovating an entire house and am doing the browsing through the magazines to get ideas for decoration/tiling etc etc. I know I have a fairly unfussy taste....but this magazine just seems soooo over the top I am now worried my home will look really out of touch, boring, plain....arghhh

I love the Houzz app (they have a .com site too) for all my decorating ideas. It lets you save ideas on a room by room basis Smile

It really will go better if you do what makes you happy. I tend to be a slightly bonkers eclectic decorator, and I find Houzz a bit "straight" so maybe you'll find it just right Grin. I've not read Style at Home but there is a bit of an eclectic/jumbly/colourful/old-and-new thing going on in interiors generally at the moment and the content probably reflects that. 25 Beautiful Homes is a slightly more "classic looks" magazine (though both the magazine and the homes in it are sickeningly expensive).
