Can I find out if a house was for sale?

A family just down the road moved out today.

I had no idea that the house was on the market, perhaps it wasn't - they may have been renting.

We'd only move for a bigger garden. I'm pretty sure that this houses garden would be a fair bit bigger than ours, and it's south facing which would be lovely.

I do have a look on rightmove every month or so, but have never seen this property.

Is there a way to find out if it has been for sale recently - nothing came up on a google search.

Shame you didn't ask them before they disappeared!

You can look on land registry to see who owns the property so that you could contact them directly.

Otherwise put a note through the door?

Have you checked the rentals on Rightmove?
