Mid-range wardrobes?

Looking to buy two large wardrobes. Willing to stretch budget somewhat [usually we'd head to IKEA or Argos and shop carefully] but can't afford the top end of the market - well, what i'd call the top end of the market! - Heals, John Lewis etc.

We've looked at The Futon Company and Warren Evans, they seem to have wardrobes at around £750 each, which is still really quite alot for us. An IKEA wardrobe is around £300 I believe, so is there anything around the £500 mark out there? I'd wondered about Next, so will have a look there, but I do find their stuff a little generic sometimes - though I know many are fans, and make Next stuff look great in their homes Smile.

Is there anywhere I haven't thought of? A middle ground between budget, self assembly, or top of the range swishness?

Thanks in advance Smile

Look at Laura Ashley as they are doing an extra 10% off sale prices so some of their wardrobes end up being around £500-600.

Not sure if the link will work but if not just search under wardrobes...

Thanks Pannacotta, hadn't thought of Laura Ashley, and we like discounts! Smile

We were looking for a similar middle ground an ended up buying a Willis and Gambier wardrobe. If you search on the Internet for stockists or look on their eBay site, there are several in that price range.
