Cheap but 'classy' light shades?

We have been in our house a year and I am sick to the death of not having any shades on our hallway lights (3 of them). We have realised when we tried to hang up some glass light shades from our old place that the current light bulbs are not attached to any joists so until we have money to sort that out (low, low, low priority!), we need some cheap light shades to go on it but I really don't want to resort to the £2 paper light shades from the pound shop. Can anyone recommend a good place to get some cool light shades for not that much money? I looked at bouf.com and they have some lovely stuff there but for £££££!!!! Help and thanks.

ASDA has a nice cut-out one for a tenner.
have it in son's bedroom and people love it.

made.com might have something? Otherwise, what about those classic modern furniture rip off places?

(Will hunt for link)

Lots of scandi-type pendant shades here for less than the usual price....

(Not sure how cheap is cheap, IYSWIM....)

Otherwise a trip to Ikea should do the trick.....

Ooh, loving that link, Orangina. I've bought v nice relatively cheap light shades from Dutch by Design but again it depends on how cheap you are talking.

Hmm sorry just realised they are not that cheap at all. I think they've put the prices up since I last looked at that website.

Am revving up to doing some shopping from the blue suntree link..... haven't done it yet, so can't vouch for quality etc! But my wish list is long......!

Japanese paper balls are a design classic, cheap as chips and IMO classier than plastic shades.

Habitat here or here has some and they also have some very cheap good-looking drum shades.
