Two bedroomed flat 1 adult 1 child so doesn't need to be huge bedrooms
Near good schools
Near green spaces and reasonable amenities
Posting for friend returning to uk after breakup .
Works from home and 3 year old DD .
She has been away from London for 10 years and is a bit out of touch.
Are we seeking the impossible...I am trying to reassure her

Been thinking about this and surely it makes sense to rent for a bit first. No point in shelling out 500k just to realise you don't like the area.

Harrow/ Pinner. Good schools, very green, on the tube, and plenty of houses available within that budget.

Or would she want to be more central? you can get a 2-bed near Battersea Park too for 500K! no tube and don't know about schools, but it's sought-after, and the park IS nice and big. Lots of buses across the bridge to chelsea.
