We are in day two of ripping out bathroom & I need tiles. I can't find any I like. Am floundering.

Our bathroom & our budget are small. Our house is Victorian. I think we are going to keep the floorboards (unless one of you enlightened souls have a reason not to?).

we are having our bathroom and loo done at the moment and have gone for plain high gloss retangle white tiles with a black and grey boarder tile at eye leval. The floor in the loo is grey marble but we are having black slate lookalike lino in the bathroom. The units, bath panel ect are again in gloss white contempary style. Not quite finished yet but it does look good so far.

Hm that does sound good. Definitely having white suite. Been thinking about metro tiles but we have them in our kitchen, & they will be downstairs loo backsplash, bit much to have them upstairs too...?

Btw we have black slate look a like in our downstairs & really like it, & bizarrely it's often commented on positively.

I looked at metro tiles but though cos my loo and bathroom are small and we are tiling floor to ceiling in both they might make it look even more closed in

Got a bargin on the lino as i managed to get an end of role for £25 and my bathroom fitter is going to lay it for me.

Yeah I just went & stood in our rubble room bathroom. It looks deceptively large with no bath in it. Maybe metro would be too fussy/small.

We are doing similar to cantspel

We are having a bathroom built, have gone for a straight edge bath, rectangle sink on a gloss unit. All white. Are then having large white rectangle wall tiles. I think the larger tiles help keep the room looking large (plus less grouting to keep clean) The tiles are coming from Topps Tiles and are a good price.

We are also having cushioned lino in the floor in a colour to offset the white. Trying to decide at the moment between slate look or blue/white effect.
