My parents went to the f&b shop in bath recently with photos etc and got loads of good advice and help. For free. Maybe worth a try?

The only thing about F&B paint, is it fades, fairly quickly. Basically, paint without 50 years of technology behind it.

Thanks, dh hit the roof at the thought of paying £200 to have someone choose paint for you, he probably has a point. So went to shop today and did get some advice although think have been talked into slightly crazy colour scheme, babouche & mahogany in hall and a yellow & london clay in living room. Have spent around £40 on samples and still not sure have got what we want Hmm
May just end up trying to match or just go in one room. I know they are expensive and impractical but do love the chalky finish.

Apologies if this sounds obvious, but have you looked on their website? There are lots of combinations/colour schemes on there under the Inspirations section. Also, if you're prepared to invest £19.50 you can get their 'Living with Colour' book from Amazon which has lots of ideas.

Do you not get the £200 back against the paint you buy? A friend of mine had it done and the results are gorgeous.

If you do, it would be worth it, thanks ogre, will check.
