anyone know about st leonards/ hastings to live?

anyone out there know about hollington? northern part of hastings ; we have a potential swop to ormerod avenue , and are feeling quite claustrophobic in a pretty-but-dull village nearby at the mo.bit nervous about all the reports of crime crap schools etc tempted by a house with big garden and right-to-buy...help! ps im in social housing

I know nothing of the area, but personally I would put good schools and low crime way above a big house on my list. I think safety & education is paramount for your childrens welfare.
