I've had a nasty experience renting my 4 bed house out in West London - I wanted to rent long term to a family but ended up with 13 non paying sub lettees in there! I have just been through the courts and have a bailiff going in shortly. It has cost me over £10,000 and the lettings agent took his finders fee and 3 years management fees up front. I want to knock their front teeth out.
Does anyone know of a trustworthy lettings agent? Do they exist?
