Have just moved in to Victorian house and need to redecorate . The living room is quite dark, 23 x 10, with North facing bay at the front and south facing doors to garden at the back. But there is a lot of overhanging shrubs at the back so still allow dark. There is also wooden panelling around the room, currently painted a creamy grey colour with main walls a creamy white. What would you recommend?
Am thinking maybe yellowy white like F&Bs String or Dorset Cream, but is this a bit 20 th century, and should I join the hipsters and embrace Elephant breath instead??

I posted a similar thread a while back and only got one reply!

I found these really helpful:-

Farrow & Ball website

Dulux website

Ended up going for Natural Wicker for a north east facing room - good choice!

Our long room is Dusted Moss 2 (Dulux trade), which is v similar to F&B Cornforth white. See thread here.
