Is that for 8 hours? Seems very inexpensive

100 per day is about right for SE

I recently paid £150 per day, central London, labour only. He worked 8am until 4pm. as the light was beginning to fade at 4.

My DH is painter and decorator and a very good one - he charges £100/day (8 hours)

We are in central scotland

Not per hour but i have just had a guy do 5 rooms (all roughly large dbl bedroom size) for £250 per room. It took him 2 - 2.5 days per room. He was by far the cheapest of the three quotes I got. The expensive guy was more like £400 per room.

In the SE (not London).

Interesting thread as I had someone round yesterday to look at some work we need done and have no idea what a sensible quote would be.

We were quoted £800 from 1 guy for a job he said could take him 10 days as he's on his own. But he was recommended by a friend for being particularly cheap.
I'm hoping yesterday's one isn't too much more, there's 2 of them & they said it should take 4 days.
