Soooo. Kitchen is ordered and in production and will be ready to install in August.
I have ordered all the appliances and of that the last to arrive was the downdraft extractor. This is to sit in the island with the hob and the ovens.
I bought the caple one which has an external motor and an extraction rate of 1500m3 phr so it should be powerful.
My wibble is this. This thing looks HUGE!!! I honestly don't know how it will fit in.
I know all the tech specs shows it will. My kitchen cabinet makers know it will. And I was very relaxed and happy until I saw the size of this thing. I am getting it to the cabinet makers today so that they can build it into the island and make sure it will fit well.
But does anyone have one of these and can you hold my hand and tell me it will be just fine. Please (begs)
I am also wibbling about worktops but that is a whole other post....
