Insurance for garden sheds/ cabins / work rooms

We have an insulated, double glazed, lockable cabin thing in the garden. Up to now we haven't used it for much but our house insurance says it's only covered for contents up to £2000. Obviously not enough if we ever wanted to use it as an office for example.

We would like to use if for furniture storage while we have building work done, but £2k wouldn't cover 2 sofas, double bed mattresses kitchen contents etc

Does anyone know if I can buy separate insurance just for this area of the house. Our current insurer (Halifax) says it counts as outbuildings and can't be changed.
