There is sPace in our utility room for a loo but it will need a stud wall, door frame etc and a channel will need to be dug for the waste. Anyone got a rough idea of costs?

I think you could do that for about 800-1000

"... and a channel will need to be dug for the waste ..."

I hope that is a misprint!!!! :)

Between £800 and £2,000 depending upon extent of drainage work, ease of connection to water service, tiling, decorations, electrical work, if ventilation can be provided by window (a fan needed as well), quality of sanitary fittings and where you are in the country (i.e London very expensive).

You will need building regulation approval for this work.
