Bond is being used for repairs and damage.
Now furniture has not been returned. About £800 worth. Any idea what I can do?

Think you would have to take a civil action against them. Best to speak to CAB or a local Solicitor.

Have you tried to contact the ex tenants?

Techinically it is theft so you could try the Police. However as it is a tenancy issue they might recommend civil action.

Small claims court. I found it easy to access, I got my judgement but getting the money from them was another matter - no money, no assets and his wage was (supposedly) too little to garnish from. There are methods available to recover monies but it can be a long process and costly.

Does your insurance cover you, is this one best to chalk up to experience.
