Very impressed with design from Howdens

For a free service I was quite impressed to get a video design plus stills.

Boring I know but just wanted to share.

Even if you don't want a Howdens kitchen the design and meeting if anything like mine are definatly worth doing in my opinion.

Sorry forgot to link it.

Also this video showed a lighter flooring option might be better suited this one seems a bit dark.

That's a great service, and I do love your kitchen.

Thank you, not officially my kitchen yet. Just very impressed with the free design service they offer.

Does look good. I had a design from them a few months ago and it was hideous!!!

nunnie · 13/06/2012 15:07

Oh dear, must be area dependant shame they can't offer a good service in every area. Hmm

That looks good, do you get a fully costed quote with the design? Did you have to decide on the doors, finish ect before they did the design or can you do that afterwards?

I have no idea aout how to start looking for a new kitchen - it's a minefield from what I've researched so far.

nunnie · 13/06/2012 15:10

With Howdens being trade only the quote and stills go to the builder/joiner. The vidoe was emailed to us.
Have got fully costed quote and stills now.

I decided after chatting for 2 hours with designer what finish was wanted but I don't see any reason why you would have to, they can alter the plan and make changes.

Looks good - I really like it.

Are you sure you want to all sit in a line like that around the island? I think it could be really annoying? Or is it just for snacks etc.?

nunnie · 13/06/2012 18:35

No that would be the dining table for all meals, it is much better than our circular table we are currently using which sits 4 and there are 5 of us.
