Retrofit wet underfloor heating - will 60 year old floorboards be ok?

Evening all!
We are looking to retrofit Robbens wet underfloor heating in the suspended timber (ground) floor of our 1948 house. My only concern is how the floorboards will react when they are relaid. I would hate to go to the trouble to re-laying and painting them only to have them crack/split as they are so old. A lot of the flooring has cupped slightly, it is 5 1/2 inch wide pine boards. Whilst it has been damp in places it is drying out following our renovation work and seems in quite good condition generally.

Thank you for any advice.
