What are your views? Slate vs. Limestone

We are redoing our small front garden. The pathway is going to be done in black and white tiles.

There is a patio area on the side and I wanted views on what would be preferable

Kotah blue limestone or

I like the blue limestone, mostly because of it's chipped edges.

I think I like the blue too.

Can you get a piece of each and put it next to your house so you can see how it looks with the brickwork/render etc? Both are nice, but like comelywench, I think the chipped edges have a nicer look than the other.
