Ikea Kitchens - has anyone managed to hide their washing machines and tumble driers behind a cabinet door?

Just the above really - I know that the worktops are a lot wider and I was wondering if it would be possible to hide the washing machine/ tumble drier behind a door, if the plinth ran along the bottom?

Anyone managed it?

Thanks.

You will need 2 x 396 doors per each machine - unless Ikea do 346 doors (700 wide unit) a 600 door will not cover a freestand appliance.
either buy a carcass and leave the back off to hinge the doors to or 2 x end panels screwed into the carcass either side - or even 1 x back panel cut in half as wont really see it (if doing it more cost effective)
Will also need at least a 700 deep top to over hang the front of the machine and be level with the door front/or over hang dependent how you fit
Doing this will give you some space at one side to store the powder if you go for a 800 unit, none if having the 700 unit.
at max you will be using a 1600 space for hide 2 x 600 appliances.
If you every need to replace an appliance the plinth will just clip off
