I think I want this treehouse

Had been looking for a house, but now very tempted by this treehouse - flick through the pics to it.

Is it a compromise too far in size?

Well life is a compramise, so if you compramise by leaving DH and DC in a small flat somewhere and visit every now and then I can't see a problem .

Yes, I'd like the house two - having a thing for walled gardens - but there's just that niggly little issue of the extra zero on the price tag.

Problem with looking at property porn though is I end out feeling just so inadequate about my house

House does n't look like a home hate all the clashing wallpaper everywhere and looks like it as "done" all in one week in Feb 2011 by an interior designer - so will be out of date by tea time...I like homes that look like they have "evolved" and tell a bit of story I always had delusions that I could say - "yes I picked up that mirror in the early '80's whilst in Marrakesh" but in reality more likely t o say "yes that patina on the kitchen wall is when jemimah had V&D in 2003.."
