Hi
we are buying a house right now which has had it's windows changed in the last 10 years, I am pretty sure it would have been close to 10 years ago as they don't look very new.
In scotland if the windows have been done in the last 10 years they have to inspected to confirm that they comply with current building regulations. If they don't comply the seller has to have them sorted or drop the price accordingly
I have looked this up but can't see a list of what these regulations are, I am interested to know because I am not happy with the current state of the windows.
Does anyone know a basic list of what they should comply too?
thanks!
