How good the soundproofing is between rooms, floors and neighbours
If it's a new house this can be a particular problem - talking in one room when your DP goes and listens in another can give you an idea of how much transmission there is between rooms and floors.

Rhubarbgarden · 26/05/2012 10:18

Any signs of damp. When was it last re-roofed.

buggyRunner · 26/05/2012 17:14

How did it go op?

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 26/05/2012 19:27

Fab. No alarm system and no airing cupboard. Both of which I can add if I'm really bothered. I love it Smile.

Really don't like the kitchen but am pretty sure it'll paint up okay. It'll be our forever home if we get it, exciting times Grin

Exciting! Have you put an offer in? Good luck!

Fisharefriendsnotfood · 26/05/2012 19:32

Not officially offered yet. Going to phone on Monday. Friends of ours want to by our current house but have to sell there's first. Would ideally like to move in August as dd starts school and dc3 due Oct...

Think will have to put this on market on case friends can't sell theirs.

That's brilliant. Nice to have potential buyers lined up already! That could save you a nice chunk of estate agent fees. Smile

And I'd love them to have it cause they love it as much as we do, we just need more space. I'll be sad to leave here but delighted to live there iykwim
