Have got this blind and this flooring for the study. Room faces north east and is quite shady because of large trees nearby.

Obviously want something neutral, but rather than buy a million and one matchpots (like I normally do!), can any of you lovelies recommend a colour? I am partial to Dulux and Farrow & Ball. Needs to go with white woodwork (as I have a massive tin of satinwood to use).

I also have a bookcase to paint if anyone can recommend a colour for that.

Just had shady lounge painted in slipper satin. Light and warm stone. Looks gorgeous against white satinwood. I tried loads of testers. Nothing worked because if the light. Blues looked too blue. Greys too dull.
