If I had four million squid, I'd be buying this. I don't think it gets much better.

Rhubarb not remotely twattish, I think y fou're ab!

What an oppourtunity that house is too. That would be a real dream of mine to get my hands on a house that hasn't been altered over the years and bring it back. I hope the bedsit/flat thing hasn't caused too much damage - but then there are some amazing tradesmen who can repair things. Is it an auction or sealed bids? Have no idea what a restoration of that scale might cost but my word if its a price you can afford you could have such an adventure rediscovering its beauty.

RC that is a truely stunning location and there is a lot of potential in the house. I still like the barn house though Grin

Bah. Am going to have to buy that barn house now whether we like it or not :)

Rhubarbgarden · 25/05/2012 21:26

RC yep. You are. Smile

Oreo I have no idea either. It has money pit written all over it. But what is life without a few crazy risks!

Rcheshire - I like the house as it is, the setting looks good to Grin

RC yes you are Grin....I will happily travel for the barn party to toast your new house!

Rhubarb my biggest worry would be that you will have competition from developers with big budgets to get the house in the first place. I can see the house being an attractive option to be kept as flats Sad. I am very envious of you getting to go for a rummage around it though. A detailed report of you findings will be needed to be reported back asap! Between tending to your little people of course Grin

I'd move back down South for that Godalming house - lovely. 5-10min walk to the station and an attractive village (altho' I've only passed through).

It was only listed yesterday though so a bit early to see whether it will be snapped up as a bargain, or left on the shelf because of all the interior work.
