smells of wee.

We have just repainted a corridor and now it stinks of wee. It is definitely the paint (dh and I have both smelt the walls!).

So this is a warning, but also a plea. How do I stop my walls smelling of wee?!

You have to basically do it again after you've painted your walls with an alkali resistant sealer. This problem was on Watchdog a couple of years back, appaerntly it's your walls & not the paint!!!

Hmmmmm Hmm how convenient for Crown et al.

Don't tell people that using their paint will make their walls smell, then sell them some sealant and make them buy more paint so they can paint their walls again.

How come the walls didn't smell when we were looking round the house before we bought it and it had been newly painted? Answer me that Crown people!
