Please reassure me it'll be over soon - we agreed purchase on a house in early March - they're buying a vacant property, our buyers have already sold and are living with family. So a really short chain. You would think therefore a quick timescale...
But no, despite the fact that our buyers are really keen to move asap, and we are really keen to move asap, and all contracts will be exchnaged this week, for some unknown reason, the people we're buying from are talking about early July as completion/move date!!!!???
I just want to get moved and in, as have 3 DCs and want some time before the summer holidays to get sorted.
I think the people we're buying from are having a few problems, but have already agreed they're happy to move into rented, so why the delay?
THink I will be emailing my solicitor daily to "encourage" him to put pressure on - anyone got any other advice?
(and last week our buyers said it had to be May - so me doing quick phoning of removal companies - but now apparnetly theyre not so rushed?)

I feel your pain. It'll be over soon, honest. I'm (theoretically) moving to my new place in the second week of June, but it feels pretty unreal at the moment, but I desperately want a date. Phone the agents up and down the chain as well (that won't cost you money unlike the solicitor!).
