We were scheduled to have two separate couples come for second viewings yesterday and today. Yesterday's happened fine, today's couple cancelled.

However, still haven't heard anything at all from yesterday's lot. They seemed very keen, and they don't have anything to sell, so it's not as though they're having to wait for an offer on their property. I did speak to the EA briefly earlier, but the particular person who accompanied that viewing was at lunch, so I'm waiting for her to call me back.

Could there be lots of valid reasons that I haven't thought of for why they haven't made an offer yet, or do I have to accept that they're just not that into it? Grin

Could be anything. I did a second viewing earlier this year. It confirmed what I'd thought - genuinely lovely house, not a chance at that price. It stayed on my RM save list and if the asking price drops by another 10%+ then we might be tempted to offer on it.

Your viewers' reasons could be anything though. Maybe they have done second/third viewings of a number of houses.

Maybe they've poor memories and think this is the first time they've been :)

We had a week between second viewing and list of questions and 10 days between list of questions and offer.....so I wouldn't assume anything.....

There could be loads, most likely they just want a bit of time to make their mind up, or are viewing more than yours.

Its a waiting game...more so now than ever with the market so sketchy, they will probably be thinking very hard!

give them more time. after all it is a big decision (and a lot of money).

Oh, that's reassuring, thanks all. Obviously, they may well have come back and decided it wasn't for them, but I want to keep hold of some hope!

People take forever! The lady who is buying ours came for 3 seperate viewings over a space of 4 weeks, told us each time she loved it, then told us she would be putting an offer in, then took another week to make the offer.
