Not pretty outside but 5 min walk from beach

Lymington is lovely

Chichester is near to some nice beaches

Could you go up to £175K? I know of a flat on Brighton seafront in a lovely Regency building. Needs renovating. It's not on the open market yet as the owners have been trying to do a private sale, but looks like they will do soon.

Think Chichester might be the place....

mulranno - I'd check out the beaches around Chichester... good for bracing walks, but not so good for sandcastles... they're mostly shingle.

If you want sand, head a bit further west.

PS Chichester has lovely shops, though!
