... or is it a bit Hmm? H wants it in the grey with the red wood legs.

Opinions, please!

It's quite nice- apart from the red wood legs. They make it vile.

Not sure the chrome would be much better, though I personally prefer claw feet on traditional-style baths like this. The L-shaped feet are quite interesting. If you were going for a more modern look, that would be my choice. Although in my house I can see I'd be fighting encroaching clutter as they would be seen as space to 'put stuff on'...

I like the grey outside but not the red legs. I'd want to paint them black, though would probably prefer claw feet. I'm not very keen on the towel rail either - sorry!

Hassled · 07/05/2012 20:01

Red legs are odd but shape/look is nice. Bit small maybe?

TheCokeMachine · 07/05/2012 20:03

Its a bit Hmm, it just seems a mismatch of style - Victorian style bath, Edwardian style taps and the legs are modern. It just seems odd to me.

What style are you going for? There are loads of gorgeous free standing baths on that site!

I'm not a huge fan of it. Pretty much agree with everyone else, the bath is lovely the legs don't go. I don't like the wood option legs either.

I would go either traditional with claw feet or modern with a different bath. I is a lot of money if you are unsure.

Good, I'm glad you have picked up all the problems I have with it - namely, it won't look like that for long with loads of soggy towels on the rail and it's kind of a bath without a period. The house is a Georgian farmhouse, btw.

This is the first place we have owned and have just discovered (after 13 years together) that we have radically different tastes. The builders are coming in 2 weeks and we can't agree on anything...

No....sorry Smile

Rindercella · 08/05/2012 18:17

No I don't - either with the red feet or the chrome. Think you could do a lot better, especially in a Georgian bathroom which I bet is just stunning Envy

Don't like it. Sorry. Also really silly money. If the bathroom is nice anyway, you don't need to spend much on a bath - just let the room speak for itself. Does that sound a bit wanky? I just mean, you don't need to make a big show off statement if you've already got a lovely house!
