Sorry, another thick house-selling question

When you sign up with a particular agent, for X weeks, you can decide part way through that to take your house off the market, yes?

But then how long do you / would you have to leave it before you put it on with another agent?

Has anyone done this?

You can withdraw your house from market at any time. However I think you have to leave it until the end of the original term before putting it back on the market with another agent.

OK, thanks. Thought there would be a catch somewhere!

Also if the ultimate purchaser was introduced by the 1st agent they may make a claim for commission - check the small print.

You shouldn't have to wait to change agents, my Mums was off the market with one on a Friday and on with someone else by the Monday.
