lovely storage for DS bedroom

Looking for a stylish and practical way to store DS (2yrs) toys and other 'stuff'.

Don't mind investing in something more expensive if it can grow with him.

The IKEA Expedit range is similar and you can add boxes to the cubes for tidy storage.
It is MUCH cheaper.

thanks! i added up the boy's storage unit in this pic below and it came to £1,171!!! Less 15% MN discount it's still £995! Wowzers. i would spend that but it is an awful lot isn't it! DS has much nicer stuff than me anyway!!

The expedit range does look nice though... I try and avoid ikea as it can look a bit cheap but the GLTC stuff is MDF anyway so i guess it's much of a muchness. I guess it's just a white unit and you can 'dress' it to look nice :)

I love ikea expedit. It looks stylish and you can buy all sorts of boxes to fit it depending on what your taste is. I use a mixture of the lime green and purple ones from Dunelm (sounds gross lol) They are cheap and fit perfectly.

I was planning onthe northcote for DS's room until I added up the cost of it. We went with Expedit in the end too!

If you look on flickr or pinterest there are loads of pics of Expedit and it is even recommended by architects.
I have one and I think it looks pretty good quality wise (and I am quite fussy!).
