what colour shall I paint my bedroom?

am currently doing the gloss white, will do the ceiling white next week, then the walls, cant afford any new bits so it will have to go. we have dark brown curtains, a cream and brown blind, bedding is in ranges of red and burgundy, light shade is burgundy. walls are currently a grubby mushroom colour with minging brown feature walls. I have no idea what would look good

nobody wants to pick colours with me, been thinking about it and still no ideas.

I have just painted my bedroom 'pale walnut' (Dulux) and I really like it. It isn't beige but almost sort of grey and picks up any colours near to it and matches them. It is non descript and have it in DD's room too

sounds nice, but I like colours, now dh is home, been discussing really dark purple.
