Plantation shutters...

We're thinking of having our curtains replaced with shutters, and wondered if anyone had any recommendations from personal experience?

A company you can recommend and any to avoid?

Have been told to steer clear of Hillarys .

Has anyone had any experience of Richmond shutters?

We used Plantation Shutters in Putney, they do a reasonable mdf version... very happy and they are 6 years old now.

We used the Traditional Shutter Company and were very happy with the shutters (we got our own carpenter to fit so can't comment on the fitting service).

If you do a search on this site for that name, you should find a previous thread on the subject

From my research I recall Shaftesburys and Shutterly Fabulous got lots of recommendations.
