What would you pay for a bricklayer to do a small job?

I've had a leaflet through the door and a quote for £90 to repair the corner of a low wall in our garden. A part attached to it has been removed so the corner needs a bit of a foundation then the corner needs rebuilding. Does this sound reasonable?

Seems cheap to me, but i'd worry about thier approach and whether the cost would stay at that price. I would have that down as a couple of days work - most builders in this area would charge between £150-£200 a day

itinerants who put leaflets through doors are often unsatisfactory. Let me guess, it has a PAYG mobile number and no address, is that right?

A local tradesman recommended by a friend or neighbour is more likely to be reliable.
