Help, painting kitchen cupboards

Im a bit new to DIY and have managed to paint the lower half of my kitchen cupboards by taking doors off and taking them outside. I have the top ones left but it's a)pouring outside and b) I can't get 3 off!
Can I paint them (using wood paint) while they are still hanging up or will it gravity beat me?

You should be able to paint them while still in place (our painter recently did ours without taking anything apart).

just make sure you apply very thin coats and rub down/leave to dry before applying the next one, to avoid drips.

just saw you mentioned using wood paint. Our painter used oil based eggshell, not sure if that makes a difference.
